Thank you for considering students and graduates of the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.  Our school boasts an enrollment of more than 5,000 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate engineering students.  Please read through this helpful guide for important information about the School, the students and recruiting.

Denise Mendoza, Assistant Director for Recruiting, schedules on-campus interviews for full-time, summer intern, and co-op positions. She can also help you with your recruiting strategy or answer questions about the recruiting process. Francis An, Co-op Coordinator, is happy to discuss the Co-op Program with you.  We encourage you to seek information about hiring co-op students and summer interns.

These programs provide you an excellent way to establish a good relationship with the Cockrell School of Engineering, enhance your presence on campus, evaluate student talent, and provide experience to students that may lead to permanent employment with you after graduation.

ECAC wants to help you put your best foot forward with our students.  ECAC follows the NACE Principles for ethical standards.  In particular, we have a firm job offer deadline policy to ensure fair and ethical recruiting. I am happy to answer any questions about NACE guidelines or ECAC policies.

We appreciate your interest in our students.  We look forward to assisting you with your recruiting and meeting you during your campus visit.

Hook 'em Horns,

Michael Powell, Director
