Migrating studentorgs.engr.utexas.edu

The studentorgs.engr.utexas.edu server will be migrated on June 1, 2010 to a centrally hosted server. As part of our migration process, we have established a test server to verify performance of the sites in the new environment.  The student organization sites are available at:

http://studentorgs-temp.engr.utexas.edu/(sitename)

We have copied the files to the new server and will re-synch the files during the day June 1st just before the changeover.  To facilitate this last synch, we will close access to the existing files for June 1st.  We have scheduled the migration to begin at 5 pm on June 1st, but due to the workings of the internet, traffic may continue to be directed to the old site for several hours until the change has propagated throughout.

Detailed instructions for accessing files on the new server will be posted here after the migration has completed.
