Dr. Raymond C Loehr receives environmental award

     Dr. Raymond C. Loehr, P.E., professor of civil engineering and the Joe C. Walter Jr. Chair in Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, received the Thomas R. Camp Medal from the Water Environment Federation. The Camp Medal honors a person demonstrating a unique application of basic research or fundamental principles through the design or development of a wastewater collection or treatment system. Dr. Loehr received the award Oct. 21 during the 1997 Distinguished Honors Awards Program at the WEFTEC '97 in Chicago.
