Introducing Sharon L. Wood

After serving as interim dean for one year, Sharon Wood began her tenure as the ninth dean of the Cockrell School of Engineering on Sept. 1, 2014. Under her leadership, the school has already had an exceptional year: placement in the top 10 in national and international rankings, highest number of new members among U.S. universities elected to National Academy of Engineering, new investments from industry partners and historic gifts from alumni and supporters.
