Graduation and Commencement

The Cockrell School is currently finalizing plans for undergraduates' Spring 2021 Graduate Recognition Moment. The event will happen the weekend of May 20-22, 2021. Please check this site periodically for updates.

Graduate Recognition Moments

The Cockrell School's in-person Graduate Recognition Moments consist of a guided path where undergraduates will enter the event space with their guests, cross the ceremony stage as their name is said aloud, take a professional graduation photo and exit the venue. All Graduation Recognition Moments will be streamed live to allow the moment to be shared with extended family and friends. You will receive a link via email and that link will become live on May 21, 2021. Please check this site periodically for updates.

University-Wide Celebration

The university-wide Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2021 will be held on campus on May 22 at 8 PM in Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium (DKR). Based on current capacity and social distancing guidelines, each graduate will receive a limited number of seats for your guest or guests. Tickets will be required for graduates and guests.
