Every fall and spring, WEP hosts welcome events to help new and returning students connect with each other, learn about student organizations and get excited about the upcoming semester. To kick off the fall semester, WEP hosts a welcome event for all our new first-year and transfer students. This social event helps students learn more about WEP programs while networking with each other and with their Peer Assistance Leader (PAL). Students also learn about the student organizations that make up the WEP Leadership Collaborative and how to get involved and connected. In January, WEP hosts a welcome event that is focused on reconnecting returning first-year women students with their PAL, reflecting on the fall semester and getting involved and excited about the spring semester.
